A few suggestions for Babe’s tea house to improve: 1. There were multiple flies sitting on our food the entire time we were there - tough thing to manage if they get inside but also really annoying being that we’re indoors and it was multiple. 2. They barely checked on us and it wasn’t a busy day - they told us they only serve water if asked “due to the water usage limits” - I’m sorry but a tiny cup of water is not going to impact that. 3. This is my go-to spot whenever I come to downtown Golden. The atmosphere is so cute and cozy, the service is exceptional, and the food is incredible. If you are looking for a small business to support, and love a good cup of tea, I cannot recommend Babe’s Tea Room enough. Shout out to Jasmine and Emma for making me feel welcome!
This is such a lovely little tea house! We had a bridal shower here for my sister-in-law and everything was perfect. Jasmine took great care of our group, was very attentive, and was mindful of food allergies. The food, tea, mimosa bar, and service were all great, and the private room is so cute! Almost every guest who came in commented on how cute the tea house was. I'm so glad we chose to have our party here.
This place has such good bones to be a really awesome experience — it's obviously an adorable spot, and the food and tea were genuinely tasty. Unfortunately, the service and lack of communication held the whole visit back. This was our first time doing high tea, and we were really excited for the full experience we'd read about online.
