Early afternoon was very quiet but clean atmosphere. Excellent food. Amazing space for a date to talk about ideas and plans.
I've been a loyal customer since 2018, but my recent September 2026 visit will unfortunately be my last. While I used to love their food and fresh bread, the standards have completely plummeted. First, neither restroom had soap during our visit and there were flies everywhere—a serious health and labor code violation. cozy old school place, sit somewhere where they can see you otherwise they kinda forget about you. Food was delicious and well priced.

My husband and I dine at Baba’s Grill on Michigan Avenue every week or two and it is always great experience. The food is delicious, portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. Our waitress, Abir, is friendly and always makes us feel welcome and like family. Highly recommend!
