I haven’t met him but he evaluated my tilt table results and he & his team there do not know how to properly diagnose POTS. I’m still not completely sure I have but the criteria “sustained heart rate above 120” they are using to diagnose is outdated by more than 10 yrs. Thus is not a criteria to diagnose POTS and many POTS patients do not pass out. The criteria is a heart rate increase greater than 30 bpm sustained for 30 seconds. I was told by multiple thedacare providers that Thedacare cardiologists were terrible at their jobs and to see someone at heart and vascular institute instead but I chose to give one a chance and I should’ve known better. Although Dr. Parvez was friendly he dismissed all of my symptoms and basically implied that they were all in my head. Unfortunately now i’ll be stuck with the bill of meeting him but have no solutions or actual input on how to feel better.
