RecommendedWe have gone to BV vet for years. It’s the only place I will ever recommend or use. It’s affordable. And staff is amazing. In the last couple months we have had some emergency situations with 2 of our fur babies. Docs have always been sincere and answer any questions and always straight to the point. Staff members there are probably the only reason I’m sane. I’m sure they got tired of my calls checking in on our fur babies. But they handled it like the pros they are!
We were new to this place but immediately saw and felt the compassion the vet and other staff had for animals. They did everything they could to help our Eva but we had to make the decision to put her to sleep. I’ve never had to do this before but felt at ease with the staff there. Thank you so much for your kindness and compassion.
I lived in Los Angeles for 20 years and I would come back home to Storm Lake to visit and would pick up the annual 4 in 1 vaccines for cats I had five cats so to be required in California to take each pet in for 60 bucks walk-in door fee and have the vaccines professionally done. You could go to Humane Societies on the weekends but you still had to bring the pet In and bringing in a cat everyone knows how much fun that is And the vet here really does care about your pets and not just the money

Not be a pain in the but about getting a pet prescription for food that they told me my cat needed! Such a frustrating experience! Ridiculous to charge for it as well, after I already had the cat in the vet for an overnight to figure out what was wrong with it....The people were very rude to me over the phone too, and told me I had to buy the food from them! I ordered the food online and they told me the vet wouldn't fill out the scrip anyway!
They are great people who get to know your pets and you. We have been going there since 1982. It was called something different then but the same great service for many years. Thank you BV Vet for taking care of all our pets.
