I have always had 100% positive experiences at BK but yesterday’s prompted me to leave a review. Those of us who are caretakers know how discouraging and wearing it can become. When I went in late in the afternoon, close to closing, I was hopeful but not totally optimistic they could help but the pharmacist, Savanna, went above and beyond to meet my needs. I have interacted with pharmacy staff first to pick up and take meds to a longtime customer. As a RN l expect myself as well as other Healthcare professionals to treat and interact with pharmacy staff with respect and an equal in a different area of Healthcare. I left my insulin needles at my home while I was visiting Salina. I went to B&K to purchase some, the girl behind the counter started to help me but had to ask the other employee. The other employee then flat out lied to me, telling me that it is Kansas law that they cannot sell them without a prescription. Now if this was store policy, okay, but that wasn't what he said. Don is great, and the girls handling post mastectomy supplies are great 👍 plus their pharmacists compound and are super patient and educated me on the meds
