We have had an excellent buying and ongoing service experience with Gerry and the team at Gielser Boats. They have been extremely helpful, informative, and friendly, all while producing a high quality hand-built product. We have enjoyed our second boating season with our Giesler 'Georgian Bay' boat and look forward to many more years ahead.
The very best wonderful wooden boat will last a lifetime with proper love and care .l got my first french river half sunk in lake nippising and fiberglassed the bottom to rub rails and used it for.39 years estimated age of boat when we got a brand new french river is70 years old.one tough boat with a beautiful smooth great ride. Great value excellent ride can't say enough good about a ,Giesler ,boat.6 stars .
Although the work was ok as my wife and I had our wooden boat sealed after taking it all the way from Toronto to this location. When I came to pick up the boat I was asking some questions to one of Gerry's workers and then Gerry barged in and basically started arguing with me and only settled down when I had to loudly tell him I was coming to pick up my boat - I was shocked!!
