I am in folsom for a few days and ate here on day 1. Amazing. I called to see what she had cooking- got the hamburger steak, speckled butter beans and cornbread. This is the tastiest hamburger steak I have ever had. The speckled butter beans had whole okra and great flavor. Great cooking and generous proportions!
Food is crazy good, and generous portions. Set aside your "norms". Owners / staff are absolutely lovely. Hard working. Everything is cooked to order, so call ahead. The facility never recovered for dining after Covid but they are making it work for pickup. As a country family's soul food restaurant, this is truly a diamond in the rough.
Insufficient to say the least! Ima try 1 more time. One lady paid for a desert ill wait till either liver & onions again or the ettoffee
Best hamburger i have had in a long time
Perfectly seasoned authentic local food, more than generous portions at a great price, friendly kind staff. Small place mostly call and pick up. Great plate lunches. Best deal and best flavor in Folsom.
