I’ve been managing Lupus my entire life and have been stable for over a year—until a recent flare-up brought me to Dr. Azafar. Unfortunately, my concerns were not taken seriously. I recently had my 2nd appointment with Dr Azarfar. She is compassionate and kind and a good listener and she takes a lot of notes and it makes me feel like someone’s paying attention to my symptoms finally. She gives you the time to ask questions. She explains things thoroughly and provides printout so you have material to take home for further follow up. I am usually uncomfortable seeing doctors. Dr Azarfar is the best rheumatologist I have ever been to, and I've had rheumatoid arthritis for over 35. She is possibly the best doctor I've ever been to. She took her time reviewing every aspect of my records and interviewed me about not only RA but how my multiple conditions affect my arthritis. She was very kind and attentive, and gleaned insights that other doctors have missed. I can't recommend her enough. The staff was also amazing. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.
