The Azalea Garden Inn is filthy, unsafe, and dishonest—I was overcharged, exposed to black mold, and ended up in the ER. Stay far away. I am an avid traveler and have stayed at countless inns, hotels, and lodges both across the U.S. and abroad. If you want nice clean amenities do not stay here. The pictures in their website make the rooms look much better than what you get when you get here. The carpet in our room is a light brown carpet and is filthy and The bath towels are very straggly. The other reviews are correct in saying that it’s a quick walk to town, the owners are nice, etc., but I was very disappointed when we walked into it room. Quaint, welcoming, with beautiful flowers and a charming outdoor cover porch or extra large gazebo type visiting/sitting area. We keep finding reasons to return... Not the Ritz... but go there if that's your presence😉
