Quaint, welcoming, with beautiful flowers and a charming outdoor cover porch or extra large gazebo type visiting/sitting area. We keep finding reasons to return... Not the Ritz... but go there if that's your presence😉
A nifty little place that we were redirected to after finding out our original hotel was closed.
We stayed here a few years ago and had a great time. We stayed recently (Mother’s Day getaway) and had a number of issues (no hot water for 2 days). With 3 broken ribs was painful to lean over the tub to wash my hair. On a positive note Vonda responded to our issues and gave us a small refund on our stay. The gardens are well maintained & beautiful.
I didn’t stay here but I want to recognize Vonda, the general manager, for her kindness. My friend had planned to propose to his girlfriend at Grandfather Mountian, but due to the weather, we had to find a Plan B. Noticing the beautiful garden, I popped in to the office explaining the scenario and Vonda enthusiastically supported us.
