Came into Summerville from out of town and found this gem of a bar! Our servers were so attentive and their recommendations were amazing. Our favorites were the Rosebud and the Bonsai, the Rosebud is probably my favorite cocktail I have ever had, the homemade clementine syrup was a standout. Definitely worth the visit if you’re in the area, and even if you’re in Charleston it is worth the drive out!!
Severely understaffed, food was meh and insanely expensive for the price, full of old people staying at the inn and the vibes were just off. Glad it is closed.
You will see a recurring comment in these reviews and that is that this is a hidden gem in Asheville. I went to Azalea on May 9th for the first time because of reading these reviews and now agree 100%. I really haven’t been this happy with a meal in a while and don’t know how I’ve overlooked Azalea this long. (NOTE: I’ve stayed at the Lantern 7 or 8 times and can’t express enough how awesome this property is for lodging). Fantastic, elevated food at reasonable prices. Everything was delicious! Shrimp & grits ranked among the best in town.
Great staff, the food came out fast and the burger was fantastic.
