Dr sold me an Iceman device and included brace for $60 with no insurance to be billed. He told me they were offering this special deal. So I bit. That was three years ago. Now Ive been hounded by Their office telling me the (simple) brace was not included and that I owe them 518.00. Be very careful with these people and be aware of the law against that practice. Im notifying my lawyer on this. Now they're reducing my bill to a cash deal of $200. It gets more laughable by the day.
I got charged for a service that never happened 6 months after my one time visit as “prolonged service without direct patient contact 60 minutes”. Initial visit was for a broken toe that didn’t require anything other just an x ray and some consultation on treatment and recovery. I will be challenging as this was never communicated or discussed. Is this a standard practice as this has never happened.
Went for second opinion and modified Ortho The office staff would not accommodate me for paper initial patient form Dr Larson took x-rays and kept telling me I wasn't in pain and nothing was wrong!!!!
