I purchased a second vehicle and used my existing Erie insurance card to register it in Pennsylvania. I contacted my agent shortly afterward to address the insurance on the vehicle and ultimately obtained a separate policy with another company. I was then told that Erie automatically added the vehicle to my existing policy for approximately one week, from 6/12 to 6/19, because I had used my Erie insurance card when registering it. Be careful with dealing with this agency, make sure they tell you "Erie's policy" on owning multiple vehicles. This agency never told me "Erie's" policy on multiple vehicles, as they already took my money on 2 other vehicles a year ago, and I have home insurance through them. I tried to bring over a work truck from another company, and they "refuse" to insure it, "UNLESS" I gave them the other personal truck they didn't have.
