Dr Karkoutly is indeed the finest cardiologist in Lubbock. He is laser focused on preventing serious heart problems. His office and staff, are professional examples of excellence in care. I've been going to Dr. Karkoutly for more than 10 years. He is always kind, considerate and knowledgeable. He has always been a doctor I could depend on.
Dr. Karkoutly wrote me a prescription for a drug, and I asked what the side-effects are. He claimed there are none. I said every drug has potential side-effects, and he said no, not this one. The pharmacy looked at me sideways and said this drug is OTC, so I don't need a prescription. I looked up the side-effects on multiple websites, and they both said this drug causes drowsiness and to avoid driving while taking it. Been a patient of Dr. Karkoutly since 2008. He has saved my life many times. He is professional. He is compassionate. When in the hospital he visits often. He answers questions. He makes you know he cares. He has an amazing memory. I really like him as a person and admire him as a physician. I always know he will listen to my concerns. Best doctor I have ever had.
Dr Karkoutly and his staff are the best at taking care of us, their patients. They get you into the office fast, test are done at the office and you have results the same day. Dr K has saved my husband and brother from having a heart attack by catching blockages early and fixing them with stents. Dr K and staff are family to us!

Hes just a great Dr I like that all the test that need to be done are done in the office instead having to go to different places to do them you find out what is going on with u tat day u go see him.
Very thorough and personable. Respected by his office staff and UMC staff. Office is equipped to run all diagnostic testing without having to go anywhere or make multiple appointments. Waiting room is very comfortable.
