Beautiful place, right on side Dobbin Hill next to an active rail road! Ceremony and Reception hall has a nice lawn between buildings. Down hill is a beautiful country setting with miles/acres to see… A local pond is at base of hill that serves a lovely look.
Let me start off by saying that my review has nothing to do with the staff but everything to do with the venue itself. I am writing this review in hopes that it helps the next bride make an informed decision before booking with this venue. My wedding was May 15th, 2026. I want to emphasize that it is MAY, in TEXAS. The venue itself was very pretty, although we did have plumbing issues the day of the wedding in the bridal suite. I would not recommend Walter's Weddings to a friend because it is obvious that they "bit off more than they could chew" and see the wedding process strictly as a business.
We had our wedding at Aylin Acres in February 2026. It was a beautiful day! Thank you to Jadyn and Ely for the planning leading up to our beautiful day. We had the best time and truly can’t thank y’all enough for executing our day with ease. The vendors, food and atmosphere were 10/10!!
Get your own planner!! My best friend got married here a few weeks ago at the end of March and the wedding planner was a mess. A bride shouldn’t be stressed on her wedding day. First off she had 3-4 planners in the span of the wedding planning process and had the last change two months out. Second off during the rehearsal the music wasn’t prepared, planner didn’t know how we were walking down the aisle and we had to tell her everything as if this wasn’t talked about during planning meetings.
