What brilliant service !! I rocked up unannounced with a dash warning light illuminated and they saw me straight away. Found it was a split inter cooler hose. Actually manufactured one from different hosing to get me on my way until I can get it sorted. Elyse ( sorry if spelt incorrectly) was bloody brilliant on the desk sorting out everyone and engaged with every customer. I highly recommend this business if you have a mechanical issue at yulara. The culprit in pic below.

We blew a trailer tyre and cracked a rim travelling on the great central road and the staff here were very kind and helpful. Even though they do not generally have rims in their inventory, they were able to source one anyway! Got the new tyre and rim fitted and balanced for $550 total. A little more expensive than you’d normally get but that’s to be expected when you’re so remote. Avoid. Clutch replaced on my Toyota Hilux a few months ago. After relatively low mileage, the clutch already produces a strong smell and abnormal noise. When I contacted the workshop to ask what clutch kit had been installed (no detailed part invoice was provided), they said they could not identify the part due to a system change and refused any further assistance. Losing traceability of major parts and offering no follow-up on a critical repair is not acceptable
Traveling from Coober Pedy to Uluru, I had a suspicion I cracked my heater core as I was loosing coolant via constant drip out of the aircon drain hose. I called up Ayres rock automotive as I got into town and they were accomodating and knowledgeable. Hans bypassed the heater core and I was back in the road that afternoon. Absolutely cannot recommend this service enough to anyone, cheers guys!
