Ayer Cut sodded our side and back yard, in 2015, with zoysia that was supposed to be "shade tolerant" zeon variety. The grass began dying immediately after being laid down. Ayer Cut recommended watering more often. As the grass kept browning and thinning they recommended less watering. I consulted a lawn care specialist and was told that the grass installed by Ayer Cut was apparently a wide leafed Meyer variety that required full sun.
