Let’s just say if he is your ER Dr at Piedmont. Do yourself a favor and request someone else. He is very easy to anger, does not listen to pt or family about the care or concerns. He will argue with you as you are not in the right state of mind. Dr should have compassion and empathy. He lacks both! He shouldn’t be practicing medicine. What he thought was stomach paralysis from diabetes medication was actually necrotic colitis. He failed to actually listen and hear us out. My mom was brought into Piedmont Henry ER with excruciating stomach pain. The nurse that initially looked after her didn’t even seem like she cared that my mother was in pain. My mother felt like she was dying from the pain and the nurses and Dr. Huq acted with no sense of urgency. My siblings and I only saw this doctor 1 time throughout the whole 12 hours my mother was in the ER. Saved my son's life! Thank you Dr Huq I have never in all 17 years of battling asthma have we ever received the level of care we did on 3/4/25. Dr Huq we appreciate you so much! He was calm and caring! I would recommend him to anyone including my grandmother.
I’ve been a patient of Piedmont Hospital for years and out of the 10 or so years that I’ve been a patient. I’ve NEVER encountered a “Doctor” who practices as this fake doctor that’s being advertised as an Emergency Room Doctor. I arrived at the Piedmont Hospital on July 11, 2024 via ambulatory services due to not having a pulse and being pronounced dead for about 2 minutes none of which that I remember.
