I work in the area, and am always looking for new spots. Decided to stop in and try this location, first off the employees are not friendly at all. I was struggling to open the door because it’s hard to pull. As I was struggling and walking back and forth between two doors (mind you it is glass so the employees were just watching me) I finally got in. I was not impressed by the burrito I bought there. No flavor at all!! The rice tasted and looked like instant rice. I had a couple of fatty pieces of meat. There were barely any beans in my burrito wrap. I went back in to ask for a plastic knife to cut my burrito. I felt the worker wasn’t pleasant when responding to my request for a knife. I never do reviews but I had to for this place. I would give zero stars if I could. The service was lousy. The food was even lousier. The rice had no flavor. The empanadas were okay especially the chicken one but there are much better places to get them from. The burrito was mostly rice and like three beans. The birria in the empanada and burrito was fatty and flavorless as well. The best part of the meal was the Poland springs water bottle. There are much better options in New Haven. Like Geronimo’s.
