14 years since the age of 14, I have suffered chronic pain; two spinal surgies, one in my late teens and a couple years ago. After the second operation at RWBH, they believed a 26 year old should have a fusion. Scared and against this, I hoped to find alternate paths, knowing a private pain clinic to be my last hope. I should have read the reviews more carefully. A 3 month wait, a consultation with a very cursory examination of my neck by Dr O'Callaghan, and a very brief look at my history. While I allowed extra time, I did not anticipate the significant delays and additional cost involved, which is particularly unreasonab... read more

Women with endometriosis or adenomyosis, steer clear of Dr Samarakoon! The clinic website states compassion and an interest in pelvic pain but as a long term sufferer of these conditions, a mother of two young kids who need me and neurodiverent I sought help in my desire to seek alternatives or reduce opioids was met with judgement, i felt like a small child being scolded by a teacher. Even going as far as to say that she had 'been around for a long time', 'need to learn to be uncomfortable' and that she 'couldn't have empat... read more

I really appreciate your help Axxon Pain Medicine Medical team. I injured at work and I had ongoing pain. And I was needed pain specialist and treatment. Even orthopedic specialist mentioned that I would have permanent pain, WorkCover was unlikely help me at that time. Thanks to Axxon specialist I could argue with them. I bet Axoon is the best in Brisbane and can handle your ongoing pain.
