I’ve really enjoyed living at Axis 201 so far. The building is clean, modern, and well taken care of, and the amenities are a big plus—especially the gym and the common areas, which are actually nice to spend time in. My apartment is bright and comfortable, and everything feels pretty high quality compared to other places I looked at in New Haven. I had a very disappointing experience living at Axis 201. Management was extremely frustrating to deal with and changed multiple things that were originally promised when I signed my lease. Marketed as “luxury” apartments, but far from it. When I first moved in, guest parking was free and the building had draft beverages on tap in the common area. I’ve had a very frustrating experience living here at axis. The lack of noise isolation is honestly unbelievable—you can hear every single step your neighbors take, along with normal day-to-day activity like walking, talking, and moving furniture. It feels like there’s no soundproofing at all, which makes it really difficult to relax or get proper rest. I can’t have a full night’s sleep at all because of the constant noise.
