Love our awning. Easy to install, beautiful, quality materials. Would definitely purchase again from this store.
Ordered 16' motorized retractable awning. Manual says 2 men 2 hours to install but with size and weight, I had 3, but easily completed in 2 hours. Detailed installation and adjustment instructions. Only been in a month, but so far loving it. Quality much the same as much more costly competitors.
Have an issue with my awning and was sent videos explaining how to repair it. Followed the directions in the videos and ended up damaging it further. Instead of covering the cost of the replacement parts under my warranty or at least 1/2, I'm getting a partial discount. And one part cannot be sent - I have to repair it and hope that works. They do not have service techs that come out so you're on your own should something go wrong.
I bought 92x24x24" Houstonian metal awning. The product was delivered fast and the product looked good. Assembly was also easy. However, I could not install this because of a wrong part. The center bracket appears to be too long for this product. It is probably the one made for a bigger awning. As in the pictures, if I put center bracket to the wall, both of the side brackets lift off the wall. I believe they put the wrong part in the package. Strength of these awnings is great. Living in Wisconsin I can get some pretty crazy winds. We replaced an Awntech awning with another one. We added a center bar to this one because winter snow caused our old one to sag just enough that our storm door started to rip the old one after many years. We should have installed the first one a bit higher. This center bar will take care of heavy snow and we were able to use the old ones brackets and same spacing.
