I just reread the previous review as I am having more work done. I do not understand many things about this previous review. First, the number of typos and poor grammar reflect badly upon me. As a person who reads reviews, I would discount any review with that many errors. Second, in hindsight that time in my life was a bit tumultuous. This is the second year I've contacted Awning Design for a problem and I am absolutely disgusted with them!!! Last year, we had a broken awning arm which needed repair. I contacted and sent an email w/a picture as instructed. They never got back to me even after several follow up calls and emails. Finally spoke to Mark who was very rude and didn't seem to care about my frustration. We had words and he tried to make things better by installing the new arm at n/c. I have had their awning for about 5 years. Everything looked OK except they did break through a bedroom wall and they patched it but it started to leak into my kitchen. About the time ir leaked I called them to ask about getting getting the awning cleaned. I bought a new covering instead ad S the old one was also fraying. The came and installed the new covering and resealed where it meets the house. The leak stopped. We have owned a Durasol retractable awning for over 3 years and enjoy it almost daily in the spring and summer months. We could not use the back deck before that point because it was too hot. Awning Design did a great job setting us up with the right product and the installers were neat and professional. We have recommend them and wanted to share our thoughts with others interested in a great awning from an equally great company.
We just had 5 windows awnings and a valance made and installed on my home and they look great. The staff was pleasant and the installers were very professional. I love the job and wish I did it a long time ago.
Had AWNING DESIGN make a shed awning and install it. They did not install correctly and would not stand behind their installation. Wants to charge over 500.00 to reinstall and they were the ones who did it wrong. MARK PEDERSEN hung up on me. BUYER BEWARE!!!
Very impressed with the office staff, consutant Gordy, the installers and the product. Would reccomend to others.
Work was done within the estimated time. Installers were efficient and curtious.
