Oysters and rhe grouper sandwich were fantastic!
This was a more, stomach-taking experience than a breathtaking one. I had the Backfin Burger for my main and it came out perfect. Great medium rare, still juicy and savory, crispy lettuce, everything was great even if I couldn't finish it fully. And the server, Libbie, was quite the same, very helpful with picking from the menu, being my first time at this restaurant and had a flying personality while taking care of hs Overall, I would recommend AAO for anyone moving to or vacationing at OBX.

9/14/26 2 PM Raw dozen oysters from the Rappahannock were mediocre in taste. 3 item platter was cooked in old oil and the clam strips were rubbery. Crab balls were great. Wife's flounder was very good. Monday dinner stop 4:15. Parking here can be challenging. Bar seating was 1st available for the wife and I. Fast efficient service. Constantly cleaning going on.
