Excellent 80 min massage by Marco!! 10/10 Every staff member I encountered was warm and friendly. I accidentally left my earrings in the robe pocket and they quickly tracked it down and found them for me. Superb!
There used to be a masseuse, Daniella, who gave the best massage ever. I’m sure she left the away spa because she was the only thing great about it. Had one of the worst massages. De-stress massage 50 minutes created more stress than when I came in. How do you get out of a horrible massage?? It’s like being trapped for almost an hour in a torture chamber. One of the best massages I've ever had. Really worked into the sore spots where it was needed and made me feel comfortable the entire time. Very communicative and exactly what I needed!
If give -5 stars if I could. Don’t even consider getting a massage here. This is apparently a 5 star hotel and the spa was giving 0 star. Truly the worst massage I’ve ever had in my life. So terrible. From the moment I arrived they gave me a robe to change in the bathroom and there wasn’t even a hook on the door to change so I asked to remove my clothes in the room instead of putting on the robe. As a long-time client who has spent thousands of dollars at the W Hotel and Away Spa, I am genuinely disappointed by the level of dishonesty, disregard, and unprofessionalism I recently experienced. During my latest visit, I was charged an unexpected $25 fee for gel removal — something that has never once been billed during any of my prior visits.
