It saddens me to have to write such a review, however for the sake of future patients I feel it is important to share my experience. I had endometriosis surgery with Dr. Gemma Hardi in May, i couldn’t make it to the post op date that they provided me, so when I tried to call to book a time they told me there was no appointments available for months and months. I left my appointment with Dr Wellman feeling deflated, unheard and frustrated. This was devastating as I had waited months for help to have my issues not taken seriously and be sent away with the same advice a GP would provide (to stay on the pill) - though this cost $200. Navigating the medical system and finding the right help can feel lonely and overwhelming. Dr Wellman did not validate nor did I feel she truly listened or cared for my experiences. For the first time in 10years I took control and insisted on a referral for AWH. The female GP insisted that I didn't need to go and gave prescription and said you only need a merina. I insisted as I was sick of not being heard. Dr. Michelle Wellman investigated further. Booked surgery and throughout my tears prior to surgery was kind and supportive..Now 2 weeks post op. I CAN NOT thank her enough. Given me my life back! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I feel like me again
