My experience with Aware Women's Health is mixed... the two doctors I've consulted with (Dr. Floriani and Dr. Baume are both excellent, warm, and truly listen to understand. I have only the highest praise for their work and the support they've shown me through the two years I've been consulting there. Unfortunately the same can't be said about the receptionist, Emma. It saddens me to have to write such a review, however for the sake of future patients I feel it is important to share my experience. I had endometriosis surgery with Dr. Gemma Hardi in May, i couldn’t make it to the post op date that they provided me, so when I tried to call to book a time they told me there was no appointments available for months and months. I left my appointment with Dr Wellman feeling deflated, unheard and frustrated. This was devastating as I had waited months for help to have my issues not taken seriously and be sent away with the same advice a GP would provide (to stay on the pill) - though this cost $200. Navigating the medical system and finding the right help can feel lonely and overwhelming. Dr Wellman did not validate nor did I feel she truly listened or cared for my experiences.
