A nice 90min walk with a great view of the lake. Our 5 year old loved it, though it was a bit far so had to be carried a few times. Path is well marked and has a few climbs with steps and small bridges. A great family adventure!

A wonderful 4km walk from Bolton Point to Marmong Point walking around the foreshore of Awaba Bay. Most of the walk is through the Lake Macquarie State Recreational area. There are 9 bridges that span small gullies to traverse as the walk is up and down with a number of sets of steps. Native flowers are in bloom during spring and are delightful to see. It's a 2 and a half hour return walk of about 8km much of it looking at or across the waters of Lake Macquarie from Speers Point, Warners Bay, Eleebana, Croudace Bay.
Worth a walk.
Awaba Bay Foreshore Walk has a 4.2 star rating with 10 reviews.
