They didn't complain about my hair being short until some of my braids came out and I needed them back in and was loud in front of other customers trying to shame me. Mind you the one African that did my hair had a crying baby on her hip the entire time. Charged me more then others that day and made my niece come out her own hair after charging me nearly 200 for two huge lemonade braids. If they look at you and don't like you they will treat you how ever. I say find a place that appreciates your money this is not the place
I had an amazing experience at Awa African Hair Braiders! No appointment or deposit was needed—I just called this morning, and they let me know they take walk-ins. As someone who loves spontaneous decisions, this level of convenience was perfect for me. The service was excellent, and they’ve definitely earned a loyal customer. Highly recommend!
