I paid $280.00 for Senegalese twists. Immediately after the service was completed, I informed Awa workers, that the knots at the base of the braids were not done correctly and were inconsistent with their usual work. Within seven (7) days, I contacted Awa the owner regarding the issue. She assured me that if I came to the shop at 8:00 a.m. the following morning, she would redo the braids that were improperly installed at no additional charge. They didn't complain about my hair being short until some of my braids came out and I needed them back in and was loud in front of other customers trying to shame me. Mind you the one African that did my hair had a crying baby on her hip the entire time. Charged me more then others that day and made my niece come out her own hair after charging me nearly 200 for two huge lemonade braids. If they look at you and don't like you they will treat you how ever. I say find a place that appreciates your money this is not the place
