Dr. Wilson was honest about my potential results, and I truly appreciated that honesty. In the end, my results were even better than I expected. To be transparent, I am a cisgender woman seeking “gender-affirming” breast reconstruction after a mastectomy. Apparently, despite his website saying he does provide top surgery, he only performs reconstructions on women whose mastectomies were specifically to treat cancer. That is valuable work too but the website is misleading and he should be upfront about not treating patients seeking reconstruction or augmentation for other conditions because it is a waste of my time and a referral.
