I had an extremely disappointing experience with this mechanic and would not recommend his services. Took my car in on Tuesday for a basic oil change and to check a squeaking noise in the brakes. He has the car all day, and when I finally picked it up right before closing, nobody could actually tell me what was done. The clerk just handed me a bill for almost $1300 , claiming he had to replace a sensor, which they never called to clear with me first. I had a very disappointing experience with AVW Group - European Car Mechanic. I took my VW car in to have a suspension issue diagnosed and repaired. Instead of fixing the problem, my car came back with even more issues than it had before. To make matters worse, I was charged around $1,500, yet the original problem was not properly resolved. Great experience with AVW Group. I called up needing an urgent assessment and battery replacement, and they were able to accommodate me straight away. Really friendly, helpful and efficient service. Made the whole process quick and easy. 10/10 service and would definitely recommend!
