If you're a fan of Italian food, this place is a must. It's a great throwback to the original Sabatino's restaurant that inspired this spin-off.
First time at Avvio tonight and everything we had was delicious, fresh, and great quality. Even after coming home, my husband and I felt we had a really good meal, hence I'm writing this review. Nice selection of appetizers, sides, entrees, and dessert. The cold calamari was great, tasty, low fat dish, with fresh/quality ingredients. We loved our spinach egg drop soup! The food was absolutely incredible, as was the service. They need to clean the bar stand/cart thing in the southwest corner of the restaurant because it smelled awful, like stale alcohol and musty. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience.
Top tier food. Great service when it's not super busyz but can get messy during peak hours. Plenty of street parking and cheaper than downtown though, so it's worth it.
