The car was beat up on the inside and the outside. The car drove like a golf cart, which isn't ideal for a mountain vacation. I was very upset when the employee sold me a toll pass, which I believed I needed, and then once out on the roads the tolls were all closed. I was quoted $12/day for the toll pass and was charged $13.50/day. Biggest issue was when returning the car. Never use this place AVR. They gave us a van that almost killed my family. No antifreeze. We could have froze to death. No heat, No antifreeze, No wiper fluid. We trusted this company with a van that was maintained. It was not. Missing caps under the hood. No one has even called us back. Never use AVR. No stars.
DO NOT use this company for car rental! Rented a car on 5/7/21. Called AVR to ask for shuttle to pick us up. I was quoted 15 min. After 30 min I called back. Was the. Told by the person answering phone she just saw the driver leave and give us 15 more min. After an hour from first call I called again and was told 15 more minutes. In the mean time we watched every other car company shuttles come and go. After one hour and 45 min a shuttle van picked us up. We then had to wait 20 min at the AVR to sign paper work. Biggest scam, didn't give me the category reserved, poor car condition, added a lot of hidden extra fees (220$ for a 80$ rental).
I was over charged...an was charged hundreds extra for a couple of chips on the floor that my daughter dropped.....worst place I ever rented from in my life...if you like your money go to enterprise or somewhere thatâs fair...!!!!

I travel a lot and I have to say this is the best experience I have ever had. Picking up the vehicle and dropping it off took only a few minutes, No Hassle. The drive to and from the airport was very pleasant. The driver , I wish I could remember his name, was very knowledgeable and was happy to answer any of my questions about the area. Iâm going to be coming back to Denver in October and I will be sure to visit you again!!
