This place sent me a bill for almost $900. Let me explain why: I was having IUD issues and i was told they dont turn anyone away over the phone, so i show up after making the drive, get checked in, and was told by the doctor, who was very condescending and cocky, that they dont remove IUDs ... but if i wanted, he could still have a look in there ?????? creep. he then gave me a business card for another place and sent me on my way. so of course, when I see it have an almost $900 invoice, I call and ask for an itemized bill, t... read more
I’ve been here three multiple times where they have scanned me did nothing to help me and sent Extremely high bills for the little they’ve done do not recommend this place. You’d be better off driving an hour away any place other than this one. they are not here to help you. They’re here to take your money. It seems like.
Avoyelles Hospital staff made me feel welcomed and well taken care of when I had both my annual and first-time ever health checkups. The waiting areas have been upgraded, the new outpatient area is inviting, and I was greeted with a warm welcoming smile and wave by each passing staff member down the hallway. The registration representatives were nice, friendly, professional and understood the process. She reviewed my personal information and created an arm band for me. I came down from Texas ans found my dad wife in the home alone OVerdosed on H. She was taken to this hospital since it was the nearest. My dad and wife were very anxious due to her state upon arrival at the hospital. They asked to speak with someone who could give an update. However, the nurse a short cute but rude gay guy name Dylan came to the front ans told my dad that he is stopping him from caring for patients. My dad is a 73 year old man who is deaf in one ear.
