The nurses are exceptional. The place is clean and I was in and out of the ER relatively quickly. However (and I know they’re aware because he’s the cause of their low rating) Dr. Ritter is a menace. Rude, condescending, and barbaric. Get rid of this guy and you’d have a top notch medical facility.

Top notch service!!! I had an Inguinal Hernia procedure done by Dr Bordelon and received great service. His surgical staff was very professional. Office staff was top notch as well. Avoyelles Hospital is under renovation and I was shocked at all the new updates and equipment. Thank you to all the staff and doctors I saw. Dr Bordelon, Dr Mutter and Rebeca. I will drive to Marksville now before I will go back to Alexandria again.
I really wish they would wash their hands when tending to my mom. A quick search tells me they do not follow hand wash protocol. When we asked them to wash their hands, they did, but we felt like we were asking for special treatment. This is medical protocol, for very good reason.
