My mom has been at Avonlea for nearly 4 years. The care-givers and nurses and even the cooks are wonderful and I've seen nothing but exemplary care. My mom has had a tough road in her Alzheimer's journey and she can no longer walk, talk or feed herself. Yet, every day, she's clean, she's out in the Great room in her Broda wheelchair engaged in daily activities even though she can only observe.
