their nurses during the week are ok but the weekend staff are just not doing their jobs. several times I had to call to tell them my husband had a messy pull up and they took hours before they would get him cleaned up. we would not recommend this facility for any kind of rehabilitation.
RecommendedDefinitely recommend Avon Health and Rehab to anyone. As a nurse I have seen lots of facilities over the years. Never have I ever seen a group of people that work so hard, reflect such kindness, efficiency, and love for their job. Truly work as a team! Joseph said it best, “ This is my family.” He is so right! My sister-in-law has been in rehab here for 11 days. Everyone has been amazingly efficient, kind, and caring. They are compassionate and comforting to the patient and family members as well as visiting friends.
All we wanted was them to take care of our mother. But they can't even do that. Now my mother is bedridden.�
I don't think anybody's there liked the lunch that day. The sweet tea was good though. I also met a lot of nice people there.
