Incredible experience with Dr. Macdonald and our new cat. She was compassionate, patient with our decision making and explained everything extremely well. Possibly one of the best vet experiences I've had in my 30 years of having animals in my life. My kitten Jazz was a patient at Avon for several years. The care and empathy was beyond my expectations. Sadly after 16 years I had to say goodbye and the front desk, the Dr. and the Tech were outstanding. Although I was an absolute mess (humans are easier than pets!) they were so understanding.
Visit was good as usual my dog Daisy had a bad skin rash , the Dr and staff handled her well even though she is not an easy dog to deal with.. she is a Shihtzu and can be very snappy. Daisy got an antibiotic injection with not a peep and we were on our way.
These folks are amazing they help us help our furry loved ones. We are on very limited funds and they understand that we love our animals just as much as if we had lots of money. They do not treat us any different, they always try to find a way that we can afford to love our babies and keep them healthy. Dr Megan Kennedy has been there in the beginning of our babies lives and even at the end. She rocks.
