I recently decided to change GP, for myself and my children, to Avoca Medical Centre based on many recommendations. My first appointment was for myself and my 6 week old baby - both of us having our 6 week checks and immunisations for baby. On this day, I spent 3 hours (with my newborn and two other young children) in the medical centre as there was significant delays. Grateful to the team at Avoca Beach Medical Centre who fitted me in, patched me up and gave me a tetanus shot when I visited without an appointment after injuring my scalp.
This place has mix of nice and polite people, e.g. Dr. Helen Tongue is excellent, and then you have to deal with condesending staff. I never post reviews but this is third time this happened in this medical centre. I guess to expect to be talked to politely is too much.
Don’t waste your time here especially with Dr David Little. This medical practice and doctor felt like I was in the 1950’s; the doctor and practice have no clue.
