This is the worst company to do business with period. They really deserve zero stars but you are required to give 1. They have no idea what they are doing and the transition to Sentara makes it even worse. They don't have the proper systems to track your business. Do yourself a favor and stay far away. There are much better companies to place your clients with.
Worst health insurance I’ve ever had. They just admitted to me on the phone that from 2025-2026 that their “new system” caused all of their patient’s primary care providers to change. I was attempting to get authorization from my pcp for a new specialist that I desperately needed to see. Come to find out, according to AvMed, they are no longer my pcp. It is literally IMPOSIBLE to find a doctor who accept this insurance , on top of that is IMPOSIBLE to find a list of doctor on its webpage. I have been three hours I have lost three hour trying to find a doctor just a family doctor common! I gave up.
