If I could give zero I would!!! Absolutely the worst insurance company out there!!! Tried to scam saying they paid for services when I was forced to pay out of pocket for a biopsy, sonogram, and colonoscopy. They do not approve ANYTHING!!!
Terrible experience so far. Avmed denied everything so far. 1.)I have a condition which is treated and under control and Avmed denies the use of the medication which treats the condition since the condition is under control. Crazy 2.) Avmed denys an MRI for a condition which does not allow me to wallk. Because my GP did not treat me 6 weeks for this condition, which can not be properly diagnosed without an MRI, Avmed declined an MRI. Please save your time and don’t buy this insurance. Very bad customer service, impossible to reach. Website is horrible, impossible to pay, smth with a new system, hours on the phone to resolve an issue and still not resolved . I wish I can talk to decision makers and explain to him/ her hours I spend on the phone trying yo talk yo the human being. Hopefully they will read this review . It is ridiculous after paying so much for the family have this customer service.
This Insurance is terrible! It's hard to find a Dr. That is in network.
Horrible company! Can’t get billing right have to call every month stating bills aren’t paid send proof every month. Denied breathing meds because of their incompetence! BEWARE!
