Avita of Newburyport cared for my aunt for the last almost 6 months of her life treating her as part of their family. Everyone from the CNA‘s, nursing, maintenance reception and more made it so my family and I could sleep at night, knowing she was being well taken care of. I was the caregiver/health care proxy for many many years to a memory-impaired Beautiful aunt who was like mother to me. Reluctantly I finally decided she needed placement. My dog and I have been visiting residents regularly for the past two years and feel welcomed by everyone, staff and reception. Residents are engaged, love giving dog treats and are very comfortable. Ir’s like a friends and family event. We visit in the late afternoon after everyone has had a full day of activities; local field trips, musical guests, games, baking and crafts.
