The staff at Avista go above and beyond to take care of their residents, especially at end of life. They provide wonderful care in regards to physical health, but the way they provide emotional support to their residents and their families, is incredible. The love they have for them is palpable. Being a former director of nursing myself, I have high expectations and they exceed all of them!
Avista Sun City West is an outstanding facility that feels like home. The caregivers treat residents with kindness and warmth, and the leadership team is committed to supporting the residents. Melissa, the wellness director, ensures that all clinical needs are met with the highest standards. It’s a caring community where residents are truly valued. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a wonderful place for their loved ones!
Caution angel review ahead. When you are selecting a memory care facility you are really choosing a community for you and your loved one to live in, in different ways. Avista has all the elements that you are searching for. Systems that provide for safety including AI camera monitoring. The staff at this location is amazing! They go above and beyond to make everybody feel welcome and comfortable. All of the group activities are both inclusive and well rounded. Highly recommended this location for anybody looking for memory care for their friends or family. Special shout out to Melissa, Myron, Kendra, Angie, Jen, Armando, and all the staff for the continuous love they show to everybody.
My husband and I went on a tour with Kendra and fell in love with Avista. The staff is kind and they are very engaging with the residents. I'm very happy I found this place and that my Aunt is in good hands!
