I wish I had read the reviews and not rented a car from here. I had to try three different cars before finding an acceptable one. The first one was dirty with bird poop on the outside and trash on the inside, and the second reeked of cigarette smoke. Most critically, my car was not marked as returned and a huge bill has appeared on my credit card. I've also been charged tolls twice for the period where I didn't have the car. I’ve used this location multiple times and had a great experience. Eva has been extremely helpful and professional. She goes out of her way to make sure to keep me an Avis and Budget customer. Dawn was very helpful also as is the new young woman who started within the last year.

If I could give Avid Car Rental zero stars, I would. First, the pricing is a complete scam. When I asked the desk agent how much it would cost to rent a car, they casually said “around $220–$230,” and maybe “10% less if you book online.” So imagine my surprise when I found a $90 booking online — naturally, I booked it. I Booked a car In July at the California rental in Culver City California for September 15th. I get to california from New York and get a call from a representative telling me there are no more cars. I asked what do I do now? She didn’t have an answer and told me they’d call if a car is available. Never got a call! What’s the point of reserving a car if they can’t do that ? That really was so unprofessional and left me and my family in a bind.
