I rented Sportage on 2.19-2.21 and only $170 out of 250 Deposit was refunded. I'm baffled as it was partially cancelled without any mention. How can I get help? There was no problem when I returned the car
Waited over an hour in line at the counter only to find that there were no cars available even though I had a confirmed reservation. A ride-share might be your best bet, definitely wouldn’t recommend.
STAY AWAY. Lost 2 hours waiting to pick up a car. Even then they don’t have the car I reserved. But it gets worse. I follow all instructions and return the car 2 hours before my scheduled time. But Avis fails to register the return, leaving an open contract that causes my next reservation to be blocked. I have to call customer service because Avis is incompetent. And then they say it cannot be resolved for 5-7 days. STAY AWAY.
super long line . only one service person. avoid if time is tight... super slow . one person take 5 or 20-30mins edit: except waiting time is long, the car needs to be picked up by valet parking of the hotel. so if the hotel is busy then you have to wait for hotel customers to get the rental cars. it took me another 10 mins to get the car. the car is new and good.
Worst Avis location I have ever been to in the world. We booked this car so we were able to go around the island of Honolulu and instead of having a full day of enjoyment and exploration, we ended up waiting at the location for an hour and a half for the guy just to tell us that he is waiting for cars to come from the airport. They only had one person working here and a lineup of angry guest, waiting for cars. Expected more from Avis Rent-A-Car as they have been great in other cities.
