Awful customer care and experience! Rented a car with Avis corporate roughly 3/4 days prior to pickup. The day BEFORE pickup, was left a voicemail that they did not have a vehicle with no explanation or alternative plan. Then causing a domino effect, because I had work travel plans based on the rental, and no other Avis in the area had a rental for a 24 hour turnaround. Needed a car asap ,just walked in and they were super quick , helpful and friendly. That's basically all ya need to know 😀 definitely recommend them .
Worked with a guy named Brock a couple of months back. He called me before our pick up to make sure we knew their closing hours and that we would arrive before then on Saturday. If he hadn’t called we probably would’ve missed our pick up entirely. He didn’t have to do that but he did, and he was also super helpful when we picked the car up, going out to the car with us. Probably the most helpful rental car experience I’ve ever had, and I travel for a living.
We contacted the main Avis number as well as several locations in Colorado Springs but were unable to secure a premium SUV for our one-way route. As a last resort, we decided to visit a location in person—and we're so glad we did. Jody and another team member were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to help us, and we were finally able to get an SUV for our trip. I requested a last minute reservation transfer to this location because I didn't thoroughly read the fine print for my airport rental and failed to bring a credit card (so they couldn't rent to me). This location was kind enough to accommodate me and Brock at the customer service desk was extremely patient and helpful despite the confusing nature of the whole situation. I was super pleased by the experience and will come to this location for all future rentals if possible!
