This place is despicable, and I cannot believe they’re still open. I should have looked at the reviews from the last year before making a reservation. I rented a car here two years ago and have absolutely no problems. Wonderful experience. This time I made a reservation for a pick up at 4 PM when I arrived a little early I was told there were no cars available whatsoever and most likely there will not be a car available at all. Unprofessional and Disrespectful.So it is bad place rent a car looking at the rating. I have been renting cars for ever now - never once I was denied a car, an upgrade or different type. Avis made it happen. These folks were unprepared to see the customer and when I was at the front desk , the representative said he “forgot” to call that there was no call. I was like how did to forget - was he thinking I am not coming. Wasted my time and my uber ride. No Avis-Budget ever.
Booked a rental through my company for a business trip, only for Avis to call 30 minutes before pickup to say they had no cars available. Their brilliant solution? “Try another location.” Five minutes later, they called back saying a car had magically appeared but they couldn’t honor the booked rate. It’s pretty clear they had vehicles all along and just didn’t want to honor the company rate. What a joke of a rental operation.
Ridiculous and dirty rental place. Will never rent from this company and will Be reporting to the BBB and all social media platforms. This is unethical and unprofessional rental Place and will never use this Avis rental Again. Josh was the representative and Ola the owner of this location totally makes no sense. Will not recommend this location/company as there are so Many other good rental places.
Worst location ever. These guys here are committing fraud… i don’t typically write reviews but I want people to stay away from this location. Go to another Avis location. I rented a car from IAH to drive directly back home. I returned the car given to me to this location the next day. The guy here went to check the car and came back to me to tell me there was damage to the car… Proceeded to demand I fill out some form when I didn’t damage the car. I refused.
