I’ve rented from Avis Davisville on multiple occasions. I’ve always got a great, well maintained car from them. Pravin has been quite helpful and an important influence in making me choose car rentals from this location.
This location has dropped its service standards considerably since the new team started. I have had the most inconvenient experience in the last 2 months than I had in my 18 months of renting prior to that. Inventory not reflected in real time- I book a full size vehicle - I am handed an intermediate category. The car is replaced with a full-size and then it has issues of tire pressure throwing an orange alert. The least one would expect is a thorough inspection especially considering tire safety. Honestly the best car rental place I've ever been to. My partner rents cars from them every other week and I rented this week. Its always no hassle, no pushy upselling, nice guys, good cars, super convenient. Could not be happier and feel lucky we have this nearby. Prices are always good too!
This is by far the best Avis-Budget store in the entire country. I drive an electric scooter and the battery died a couple of blocks away from this store, I made it to their store and went in and asked if they could point me in the direction of a plug to plug my bike in anywhere nearby.., they did even better!! They let me bring my bike right inside the store and plug it in right there inside the store and let me charge it for 10 to 15 minutes so I could make it back home again. Picked up our car from this location and had a great experience. We ran into an issue with the billing but Shane was very helpful and polite and resolved our problem efficiently. Unlike the other Avis location, specifically Davisville, the representatives here at this location are helpful and kind.
