Surprised me with a $750.00 dollar deposit.. Agent was rude. Acted like he was better than me sitting at his minimum wage job. Canceled my reso $173.00 refunded $23. Same day reso.Use ENRTERPRISE save your money.
Tried to make us file a claim for a small chip and did not give us photos pre inspection + did not tell us to check the car before renting. Gave the car to us also late, told us to get a coffee because the car was not ready. We were rushing to go somewhere already.
I rented a car from this location and they were really helpful after I realized I couldn't use my original reservation because I had cancelled the credit card I booked with. I think the person who helped me was named Drew but I'm not sure. He was extremely friendly and helpful. I had a great experience and it was also very easy to pick up and drop off my rental car.
Incorrect information from staff resulted in an unexpected charge I had a very disappointing experience with Avis Bloor-Yonge. When I picked up the rental car, I arrived later than my scheduled pickup time. I asked the staff whether the return time could be adjusted since I was picking up the vehicle late. The employee told me that returning the car within 3 hours after the scheduled return time would not result in any additional charge. As a longtime Avis customer, this was hands-down the best service I've ever received at one of their locations. Not only was the staff (Owen) incredibly friendly and patient, the manager (Sandy) went out of her way to hook us up with a car big enough to fit our bikes. And this all happened at the end of their shifts, while overwhelmed by other customers. Highly appreciate the helpfulness and jocularity!
