Huge shoutout to Avis and especially to Esayas. I had a minor accident and was worried about the scratches on the car. Esayas handled everything calmly, explained the process clearly, and treated me with real empathy. In the end, they didn’t charge me for the damage, which was such a relief. Amazing customer service and a genuinely good person to deal with.
Alex was the guy on the counter and he was rude and didn’t offer any help. There was a system error and instead of offering solutions he kicked us out of the establishment because he wanted to leave. Horrible experience, horrible service, never again.
I just missed my booking, why does this location takes 4pm pickup if they close at 4? Also staff is very rude, as soon as I came into the office, the two guys started talking at the same time. I was not able to understand what they were saying. If they close, why is the office still open. Anyway very rude people there.
My experience at 80 Bloor Street East was not adequate. When I arrived at 11:20 am early for my rental the person at the desk asked me when I would be returning the vehicle. I said at the original time of 12:00 noon based on the contract. The individual told me I would be charged a full day for returning the vehicle at Noon if I took the car early at 11:20. We rented a car for a day and our experience was amazing. We had booked a ‘wild card’. They gave us a VW Taos. They gave clear instructions on how to reach B3 parking level to take delivery of the car. The guy at the car delivery was also very helpful. He explained how to exit the parking lot and how to return the car. He had missed to note a scratch on the fender. When I pointed out, he promptly did it and initialed it.
