The single worst experience I’ve had at an Avis center. The desk agents at both pick up and return were unprofessional, unhelpful, and just downright rude. At pickup, my discount code which I mentioned the number to the agent twice, was not applied even though I was assured it was. And at return, the driveway was not cleared of snow and the agent was absolutely adamant that we were to pull up the car into the parking lot. Not sure how we’re supposed to do that. The car drop off was made extremely difficult!! The man was very unprofessional, there was cars getting stuck in the driveway due to snow and was hell bent arguing on how he was present from 9am and none of the cars getting stuck, in spite of a working professional from Avis took a shovel and started to clean the driveway. Making me stuck in their driveway and charging me for the time I got stuck in their driveway doesn’t make sense whatsoever ! Disappointing service
I had a very disappointing experience with Avis today. I booked my car a week in advance, but when I arrived, the front desk agent (Angie) said they didn’t have the car size I reserved and only offered a smaller one. On top of that, she refused to honor my confirmed online discount rate. I came prepared with my reservation and everything verified, but she still refused to help. Very unprofessional and frustrating experience . I expected much better service from Avis.
