While I've previously felt nothing but complimentary about this location, that has changed. Unlike every other car rental agency in Madison, for some reason this location will not accept Chime credit cards. Its not a prepaid card, its an actual credit card with a limit and yet it is not accepted here. I used to be a loyal renter. Rented from this location twice. Quick and easy pick up and drop off and after hour drop off and key drop is a huge plus ! Be mindful of the lunch break hour. I was greeted by the friendly staff. Car is not the best and the most luxurious , but it’s at least clean and new ish. This is not car shopping just rental :) Easy public transportation access to and from downtown (where I stayed and need to pick up the car ), short walk to the closest bus stop and at night time its well lit surroundings. I absolutely love the people who work here. They are so kind and helpful. I rent a car at once or twice a month and I always have exceptional service. Example is at my last rental I booked it extremely last minute due to a family emergency. I would get there to pick the car up 10 mins after the location closed. I called and spoke to Stacy explaining my situation and she offered to stay 15 extra minutes so I could get a car. I'm telling you, I almost cried. Rented a couple times for the weekend. Had great pick up experiences with nice staff every time! The closed hour drop off option also made returning easy and smooth.

I made a reservation on 6/12/24 for 6/13/2024 at 4pm. I had my father's funeral and memorial service suddenly and the booking went smooth. Since I don't have a car I selected the store 4 blocks from my apartment. The same store I've been using for years. I got an email that night that listed the store hours 730-1230. The Expedia email had the same. My reservation was at 4pm so I was concerned about how I would get the car if they weren't open.
