Don’t use Avis unless you want to get double charged at the end of your trip. My reservation should be $678 + refueling fee upon return. I ended up being charged $1478 - more than 2x my original fee which was specifically confirmed by the counter lady. Customer service is shit for this company. 20days have passed and I get zero progress on any type of explanation not to mention any refund. Don’t use this location for Uber. Just got here and there is no Avis. We called Avis info number and they confirmed that there is no Avis here.
I wish I remembered her name, but the woman working on Saturday 5/16 in the morning was fantastic. She was kind, explained everything thoroughly, offered us a complimentary upgrade for being first time Avis Preferred members, and seemed as though she genuinely enjoyed her job. There was a bit of a wait to check in but we arrived 20 minutes before our scheduled pick up time and were able to pick up our car right on time.
Avis charged me extra $78 and have no clue why they charged me. Dispute with credit card will help them to find the reason.
With a reservation already in hand, we came to the bellagio to pick up a car for one day of Hoover Dam exploration. Gabriel gave us so much good information while renting our car, all while making the process painless. We were able to use his knowledge to fully explore Hoover Dam along with Boulder City. Thank you so much Gabriel. Our next Vegas visit( we will be renting with Avis in the Bellagio thanks to Gabriel
