We waited 60 mins. Incompetent employee couldn’t do anything and was completely untrained. Had to take an uber or we’d miss our appointment. Every single customer before and after had the same issues. Stay away!

When we arrived at the counter, we were told that the key lock box was locked with the key inside, and as a result, the only car available was an electric vehicle — not the one we had reserved. Since we had a full-day trip planned, we reluctantly agreed to take it. Before leaving, we specifically asked the staff whether the car could be charged along the way, as we were heading toward the Grand Canyon area. At Avis car rental, Harry Reid Airport, LAS, I had worse experience than that of a non-preferred member, and of any other car rental member would have. The site doesn't have any sign showing where to pickup the car. There was a sign "welcome preferred member", but nothing else. I had to wait in a long line at Avis counter. I called Avis customer service. She told me my car was picked up (what!!?). I asked her to check again, then she said the car was still there, but didn't know how to show me where to pickup the car. Less than one star if it was available. Update to the scam known as "lost and found" If you ever leave anything behind in an Avis car, kiss it goodbye! I have been trying for a month to get my item back and for a month I cannot submit the return portion of the process. I even had the opportunity to go to the desk in the Vegas airport again on another trip a couple weeks ago and they couldn't find my stuff. Even after my first review where I totally grilled the Avis SCAM, I got a "we are sorry for the inconvenience" BS email.... read more
