The Avis counter at MGM Grand was disappointing. The agent was rarely at the desk and, when I finally caught him, he quoted me $517 for just two days for a compact SUV. I booked online instead and got an full size SUV for nine days for only $275. He also seemed completely bored and not helpful at all.
Don’t recommend renting from this location. 1. Desk is hard to find and is unstaffed. Had to wait long for staff to come and give us the car. Phones were not answered. 2. After car was returned, they did not close the rental for multiple days. Had to reach out to customer service to close rental. 3. Charged for fuel service even though car had more fuel on return. Had to again reach out to customer service to get refund.
Booked the car 45 minutes before I went downstairs. Desk agent was super friendly. I was a little concerned about all the negative reviews but it was a seamless process! Highly recommend!
We were able to rent a vehicle for the day without a reservation. Very reasonable prices.
